Lady Antebellum

<>
Kristi, Andrea, Myself
The Lady Antebellum concert on Wednesday night was AWESOME!!! A lot of it had to do with the girls I was with. My friends Andrea and Kristi came up for the big event, and I couldn't have been more excited. Kristi was one fo my first friends I ever made when I moved from Wyoming to Illinois. I have been friends with her for 24 years! WOW, that's a long time! When I was in 8th grade, Andrea and her family moved in next door. We have been besties ever since. It was great spending time with the girls, and hearing all about their lives.

Once the concert started, we turned into teenage girls all over again. Yelling, screaming, singing a long (myself poorly).

After the concert, we went to Rustys so Andrea could get her Lusty Rusty. It was a fun night. In the morning, we went to IHOP for breakfast. I had to work at 1:30 so they left shortly before that. Brandon wanted to go back down to Illinois for a couple of weeks so Kristi was nice enough to take him. I heard what a huge help he is when he's there, so I don't mind letting him go. I do miss him already though.

Tomatos and Lady Antebellum

This year for my birthday I wanted a Topsy Turvy tomato planter. Adam got me one, even though he hates tomatos. He then decided to plant peppers so we can make salsa. This is our first year doing this. I have never grown anything to eat before, call me a dork but I'm excited!!
Tomorrow Andrea and Kristi are coming up and we are going to attempt to go to the Wausau Fair to watch Lady Antebellum. This has been in the works for a couple of months. I hope the weather works out, and I hope we get there in time to get a good spot. It is a free concert, so it's going to be bananas! I love all my friends to pieces, and don't know what I would do without them. I wish Jessica could go with us, but it is Ryleys birthday.

5 days!!!

Five days until Andrea and Kristi get here!!! We are going to go to the Lady Antebellum concert in Wausau on August 4th. I love my Andrea and Kristi. Kristi was one of the first friends I made when I moved to Illinois in 4th grade. And in 8th grade when Andrea moved in next door we became fast friends. I can't wait until Wednesday!!!!

Your love keeps lifting me higher.

That is the song that is stuck in my head!!! I went to a bra party with Heather and Jessie. I wasn't too sure about what to expect, but since Heather raves about the bras, I decided to go.

Ok, this might be tmi for all you blog reading guys out there (If there are any guys who read my blog, heck I don't even know if there are any women who read my blog...) Heathers mom is the consultant, she first sizes you for a bra, then gives you little star stickers to stick on the outside of your shirt where your nipples are in your current bra. Then you change into one of their bras, put your shirt back on and look at the diffrence. I tell you what, I can't wait to get my bra!!! It made me feel like a whole new woman. I even booked my own party so I can reap some of the benifits. I can't wait!! Next, I'm going to get the shapewear. I told Adam tonight, I am going to look smokin at Saras wedding. HAHA!! When I get my bra, I will do a before and after pictures for you, because I know you all want to look at my knockers!! HAHA!!! On that note, until next time...

Empty Nesters

So, Adam and I are pretty much empty nesters this week. My parents took the younger boys camping in Tomahawk and Brandon being 15 years old is home as little as possible.

Today, Brandon went out and got job applications. It makes me proud on one hand that he wants a job, but sad on the other hand that he's old enough to go get a job.

Today, we had 2 huge trees knocked down in our back yard. Jeremy, Amber, and Audrey came over to watch the madness! After the trees got cut down Heather came and got the girls and myself and we went to the Amherst fair. I love spending time with Heather and the girls, just we wern't so busy so we could do it more. I think it will be one tilt-a-whirl ride I will never forget. Amber was hillarious!!

Busy couple of weeks

So, we have had a busy couple of weeks at the Mrozek household. First and foremost, we officially have Bill Hoffman out of our lives!! It feels SO good!! Last Saturday after work, Brandon, myself and Devin went down to watch the fire works with Jessicas family. It was a good time. Much less crowded than the 4th of July typically is. The boys had the whole field to run around in and burn some energy. Needless to say, they didn't burn it all. All the kids enjoyed playing with their light up swords.

Monday morning Brandon, Devin and I went down to Kenosha to pick Connor up, and to go to Great America. What should have been a three and a half hour drive, turned into a six hour drive because of construction, and an accident. It was stressful to say the least. As I was driving, when I looked behind me to change lanes I felt something "pop" in my back. It hurt for a split second, then not at all. That evening, my upper back was stiff but I thought maybe it was from the stressful drive. Tuesday, I woke up and felt really good. Didn't think anything else of it. Tuesday at Great America on the other hand, my back was getting more and more sore as the day went on. I was bound and determined to not let my misery ruin the kids fun. We ended up staying until close because the kids wanted to see the "Glow in the Dark Parade". By time I got back to Cassys house late that night, I had tears in my eyes because my back hurt so bad, and I had a funny lump in my forearm. Cassy rubbed my shoulders and said that one side was very swollen. I took Ibuprofen and went to bed.
Yesterday after driving home, I was in the worst pain I can remember having in a very long time. Adam suggested I go to Urgent Care. I went in and the nurse practitioner I saw said I have a spasm in my back which is causing pain in my back, shoulders, and neck. Also, the funny looking, slightly painful lump in my forearm is a bloodclot. I have to put heat on it four times daily in hopes that it dissolves. I have to watch it carefully for the next couple of days and go to my doctor if it's not better.

Tonight, Adam packed Connor and Devin up to go camping with my parents and my nephew Aron in Tomahawk this weekend. I know this post was boring, but it's my life lately.. :)

My Baby Is Home!!

YEAH!! Brandon is home!! He was gone for 5 weeks and 2 days! That is way too long for a boy to be away from his Mamma in my opinion.

BUT...When Adam went to pick Brandon up, Connor begged to stay at Cassys house until next Monday when I come to pick him up. He didn't bring any clothes, underwear, socks, toothbrush with him. So after a quick trip to Walmart, he got to stay. He's going to have so much fun playing with Jordan, Alivia and Landon. Connor and Alivia really have a special relationship. I think Connor looks at her as the sister he doesn't have. It's so cute, everytime we get to Cassy's house Alivia just squeels like crazy when she sees Connor.

Tomorrow I have to pick Jessica up from an appointment. It was a good reason to clean out the van. It's so nice now, I love it!

Happy 4th of July!!

Happy 4th of July!! Today I took the boys to the parade down town. They enjoyed it very much. The enjoyed looking for friends in the parade. They saw Connors friend Tyler, his mom Jessi, and sister Hailey. They saw my friend Carie, and her daughters Haley, Hanah, and Hadyn. They saw our neighbor Clayton and his son Trent. They got a bag full of candy, a popcicle, a reusable shopping bag. Afterwards, we went to Riverfront Rendevioux where we ate lunch and played bingo. Connor especially enjoyed bingo. He played 10 games!! Unfortunatley he didn't win, but still had fun none the less. After we left the riverfront, we went home to pick Adam up. We went to Adams cousin Matt's house. There were a lot of family members there, it was nice. It rained and rained and rained. That didn't stop the kids from playing though. They were soaked and wet, but had a great time. They played and played with Matt and Kari's dog Blue. Blue proably slept well too. After we left Matt and Kari's, we came home. Connor and I played a couple of games of Family Fued on facebook. Now Connor is snuggled up to me snoozing. He's so adorable! All in all, it was a great 4th of July. The best part is, Brandon is supposed to come home tomorrow!!! I miss that boy like crazy!!

Happy Birthday!!!

Happy 15th birthday to my wonderful oldest son Brandon. It was 15 years ago today at 8:30am you came into my life. It wasn't the best circumstances being a teenage mother. But we made the best out of it. We lived at home with my parents for the first 3 years of your life. Then we ventured out on our own. We got an appartment, and soon the house we still live in today. It has been completley remodled and doesn't even look the same. When you were 3 years old, we met Adam. He started to love you just s much as he loved me. When we got married he soon adopted you, and hasn't looked back. Things aren't always easy for us, but you know what I say... "We may not have it all together, but together we have it all." I love you so much Brandon Paul!!!

Soon I will learn how to put pictures on here!

My First Blog

I have been reading blogs for a long time. It started with my good friend Andrea's blog. From there I followed link after link until I started following way too many blogs! Andrea and I would talk about some of them like we know them personally. I decided, if I'm going to blog stalk, it's only fair I have a blog too.

A little about me: I'm a married mom of three boys (hence the blog name). I work as a pharmacy technician, and spend a lot of time at the baseball diamond in the summer time.

I hope you get to know me better, and maybe I will get to know myself better through this blog.
